Waiakea High School is accepting head coach applications for the following sports:
• Boys and girls air riflery; application deadline, Sept. 1
• Boys and girls wrestling; deadline Sept. 30
• Water polo; deadline Oct. 30

Hole-in-one
Elvis Kimura aced the 177-yard 16th hole earlier this month using a 5-wood at Hilo Municipal Golf Course.
Impyo Hwang, Randy Pak and Yong Yoshimura witnessed Kimura’s second hole-in-one.
