Born in Paauilo, she was a picker for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., midwife and member of the Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation 4:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 5:30 p.m. All-night vigil to follow at the Evangelista home in Pahala. Face masks and social distancing required. Graveside service 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. Survived by daughters, Catalina Pasion of Hilo, Trifona Domingo, Estrella Delos Santos and Margarita (Loreto) Romualdo of Kona, Cecilia Urbano of Delano, Calif., Marilu (Francis) Agustin of Pahala and Pauline (Melanio) Peralta of Santa Clara, Calif.; sons, Augustine (Elena) Labicani of Suisun, Calif., and Graciano (Arceli) Labicani of Stockton, Calif.; sister-in-law, Encarnation Evangelista of Hilo; 47 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
