Police arrested and charged a pair of men with numerous offenses after the execution of a search warrant Wednesday off Coconut Drive in Ocean View allegedly turned up drugs and firearms.
Edward Asuncion, 64, is charged with first- and second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, and Cecilio Asuncion, 72, is charged with first- and second-degree commercial promotion of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm with intent to facilitate commission of a felony, and six counts of prohibited possession of a firearm.
According to police, officers recovered 11.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 176.9 grams of dried marijuana, 56 marijuana plants, a .30-06 rifle, a .22 caliber rifle, a .357 caliber revolver and 19 rounds of ammunition.
Bail was set at $55,250 for Cecilio Asuncion and $15,000 for Edward Asuncion.
