Tsuruko Akasaki Asato, 96, formerly of Ookala, died April 27 in Honolulu. Born in Paauilo, she was a retired nurse and office manager for a private-practice physician in Hilo, licensed practical nurse for the former Hamakua Infirmary and member of Papaaloa Hongwanji Mission. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Charles “Chuck” Noel Green Jr., 61, of Ocean View died April 25 at home. Born in Portsmouth, Va., he was a carpenter. Betty “Mam” Michiko Kagimoto, 85, of Hilo died April 10 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. DonDon Juan Lopez, 38, of Kailua-Kona died April 10 at Kona Community Hospital. Gayle Kiyoko Sueda, 62, of Honolulu died April 2. Howard Waltjen, 88, of Hilo died April 15 at home. Born in Kurtistown, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for Jas. W. Glover Ltd.
