Michael Clayton Namba, 58, of Hilo died March 31 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired custodian at Waiakeawaena Elementary School. Private services held. Survived by daughter, Ariane (Aaron) Moniz of Keaau; two granddaughters. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Marian J. Tavares, 85, of Keaau died Jan. 18 at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Oahu, she was a housewife. Private services. Survived by sons, Wally (Pat) Tavares, Sr., Michael Tavares and Mark (Dee) Tavares; daughter, Gloria (Gilbert) Lee; brother, Ronald Rapozo; sister, Jackie Dias; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary.
