The popular thought going into the preseason was that Waiakea would be the biggest threat to Konawaena’s girls basketball dynasty.
That could still be the case, but the popular thought didn’t’ consider Agonias, a freshman for Hilo High.
She scored 23 points Saturday night as the Vikings beat the Warriors 88-75 in overtime in the first of what could be several meetings between the rivals this season.
