West Hawaii Community Health Center invites the community to a blessing and open house from 4-7 p.m. Friday (July 27) at its new dental center at the Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center.
Kahu Danny Akaka and his wife, Anna, will lead the blessing, and everyone is invited to tour Waikoloa’s new state-of-the-art dental center and meet the dental team.
“Providing access to oral health care is critical to the overall healthcare of our community,” said West Hawaii Community Health Center CEO Richard Taaffe. “After a long process, we are very excited to open the doors to our newest dental center in Waikoloa.”
“We look forward to welcoming the North Hawaii community to the open house and to our dental services,” he added.
The Waikoloa Dental Center team will be led by Drs. Steven Pine, Matthew Stewart and Kyoko Awamura and is accepting new patients and offering high-quality oral health care to residents in the North Hawaii area including Waikoloa, Waimea and Kohala.
The dental center accepts all forms of insurance, including Kaiser dental insurance. Dental appointments are available 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
