Maria Consolacion Alnas Espejo, 96, of Keaau died Feb. 16 at home. Born in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, she worked at Koi Tomato Farm and the former J&L Anthurium Farm, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation 5-6:30 p.m. Monday (Feb. 26) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 27) at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Keaau. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Robert “Bobby” Alan Galima, 62, of Hilo died Feb. 10 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a volunteer at Hilo Public Library. Virginia Corazon “Cora” Miller, 97, of Beaverton, Ore., formerly of Ninole, died Feb. 10 in Beaverton. She was born in Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Yoshio Nekoba, 85, of Keaau died Jan. 5 at home. Born in Pahala, he was a principal at numerous Big Island schools and retired at Waiakea Elementary School. Private family services held.
