Plans call for restricting access from 29th Avenue (Poni Moi Avenue) during peak morning traffic hours.
Vehicles will not be allowed to turn left from 29th onto Highway 130 from 6-8 a.m. Monday through Friday, except on state holidays.
The restriction becomes effective Monday, Feb. 19, and “will be conducted on a trial basis” until Monday, March 5.
HDOT is seeking input about the pilot project. Write DOTPAO@hawaii.gov or call the HDOT Hawaii District at 933-8866 before March 5.
