It’s believed to have been 19 years since a Christian Liberty swimmer won a BIIF race, but Wells is starting to make a habit of it.

The sophomore claimed the 500-yard freestyle Saturday at Kamehameha for his fourth victory of the season, making the biggest waves in the pool for a Canefire swimmer since Cassie Lyons captured BIIF gold and state silver as a freshman in 1999.
