Elite Baseball Speed Training on Jan. 5

Former UH football player Kenny Patton will hold his Elite Baseball Speed Training, along with Kolten and Kean Wong, on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at Panaewa Gym.

For grades 4-6, the session is from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. For grades 7-8, it’s from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. For grades 9-12, it’s from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring water or Gatorade and training shoes.

Entry fee is $30 (online registration only) at pattonsportsperformance.com.

Youth rugby sign-ups

Hawaii Youth Rugby for ages 8 to 17 years old will start its season in January 2018. Practices are held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Malama Park field in Panaewa.
