The county Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division announces traffic patterns for the Volcano and Glenwood transfer stations will be changed.
New signage is expected to be installed to reverse the direction of traffic at both stations as of Dec. 4.
“The changes in the traffic pattern at both transfer stations will discontinue the crossing of vehicular traffic and be consistent with current roadway and traffic-design standards,” says an announcement from the department.
Motorists are asked to use caution when entering the transfer stations.
