This month’s speaker is Susan Bambara on the topic “The Path to Peace is an Inside Job: Inner Conflict Resolution Using Hypnosis.”

Want to have a fun experience while learning more about how the process of hypnosis can help you achieve a calmer state of mind?

“Learn how creating and keeping peace within you helps resonate peace on earth,” said Bambara, who will discuss the benefits of hypnosis, share an instant inner conflict resolution technique and walk participants through a relaxing mini-trance.

Bambara has a bachelor of arts degree from California State University at Northridge and is a clinical consulting hypnotist/certified hypnotherapist. She uses mind-harnessing hypnosis techniques to create inner balance and peace.

As owner of the Hypno Spa — “A Retreat for the Mind” — Bambara is dedicated to helping people with ordinary problems use the self-empowering process of hypnosis. She also is a professionally trained volunteer mediator at Ku‘ikahi.

“Hypnosis truly helps ordinary people with ordinary problems,” Bambara said.

Ku‘ikahi’s Brown Bag Lunch Series is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch and enjoy an informal and educational talk-story session with others.

The talks are the third Thursday of each month at the prosecutor’s office, 655 Kilauea Ave. The series is made possible thanks in part to funding from the Atherton Family Foundation.
