Police: Elderly man missing

Police are asking the public for help finding a missing elderly man who is possibly homeless and living in his vehicle.

Miguel Cruz is 72-years-old, 6-feet tall, 165 pounds, with balding gray hair and a goatee. He was last seen drivinghis 1997 cream colored Ford passenger van and is known to frequent the Hilo Bayfront area and Puna district.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
