Highway paving project underway

Paving will start today on about 400 feet of roadway shoulder on Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea.

The work will occur from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on the southbound lane near the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope office.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and drive with caution as heavy vehicles and machinery will be in the work zone.
