Meeting to focus on Papaikou issues

Hawaii County Council Chairwoman Valerie Poindexter and Mayor Harry Kim will host a community meeting today in Papaikou.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Papaikou Community Center.

Topics include Papaikou Beach access and the Papaikou Point project.

Planning Director Michael Yee also will attend, according to Poindexter’s office.
