A brush fire was contained after burning about 200 acres near Naalehu, according to the Hawaii Fire Department.
The fire was located between the 62- and 63-mile markers on Highway 11.
According to the Fire Department, it was being extinguished Tuesday with helicopter bucket drops and ground crews. No injuries or property damage were reported.
