Walter “Wally” Ah Hee, 75, of Hilo died Dec. 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was owner of Wally’s Car Care, employed by Hilo Coast Processing Co., Hilo Construction, M. Sonomura Contracting, S.K. Oda Contracting and Ruddles Gas Station, served in the Hawaii Army National Guard, was president and member of Tenrikyo Kaka‘ako Church and member of Waiakea Uka Senior Softball. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 7 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire; no flowers. James Samuel Levy, 84, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 26 at home. Born in Tucson, Ariz., he was retired. Private services. Born in Princeton, Ind., he was a mechanical engineer involved with research and development in missile programs, plant engineering and design of special industrial machinery for various companies, U.S. Army Air Corps P-51 pilot, life member of American Ex-Prisoners of War, Disabled American Veterans and Military Order of the Purple Heart.
