A 70-year-old Hilo man police described as “possibly armed and dangerous” in a public bulletin turned himself in to police Monday afternoon.
Edmund R. Rodrigues was booked on suspicion of attempted assault, terroristic threatening and property damage.
He was later released from custody pending further investigation.
