Police release suspect in Kona shooting

A Kona man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal shooting Thursday in Kona was released from police custody.

At 2:15 p.m. Friday, detectives released 70-year-old James Mansker of Kailua-Kona pending further investigation. An autopsy on the victim, 62-year-old Marsha Mansker of Kailua-Kona, is scheduled for Monday.
