Juvenile dies from gunshot wound

Police say a juvenile male died Saturday as the result of a gunshot wound.

In response to a report of a BB gun injury, officers and medics arrived Friday morning at a home off Oshiro Road in Mountain View to find the victim was shot by an actual firearm.

The unidentified victim was transported to the Hilo Medical Center in critical condition.

On Saturday, he was pronounced dead after being removed from life support.
