Hilo’s Wilson an Army Reservist

U.S. Army Reserve Pvt. Aaron H. Wilson recently graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, rifle marksmanship, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid and field training exercises.

Wilson is the son of Lewis J. Wilson and Sandra E. Kuwahara, and stepson of Lance T. Kuwahara, all of Hilo.

He is a 2015 graduate of Hilo High School.
