Dan “Wampy Dan” Anglin, 71, of Waikoloa died Dec. 26 at home. Born in Oakland, Calif., he was a retired operating engineer and avid golfer. Rose “Loke” “Darling” Hulihee Fukumitsu, 79, of Lanihau died Dec. 9 at home. Born in North Kona, she was a cashier for Matsuyama Food Mart, secretary for Hilo Soda Works, salesclerk for the former Kona Inn Gift Lanai, coffee farmer, dispatcher for Tamashiro Trucking, secretary for Kona Hawaiians Pop Warner Football and member of American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) Konalani Chapter, Kuakahela Ohana, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Keopu Citizens Club, elections volunteer and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Visitation 1-3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona. Mass at 3 p.m. Graveside committal service and burial 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Boat Harbor. Tomoe Iida, 97, of Hilo died Dec. 18 at home. Born in Puueopaku, she was a retired cook for K’s Drive-In, Olaa Steakhouse, worked at Orchids of Hawaii and was a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and its Buddhist Women’s Association and Project Dana.
