Candidate interview process workshop Sept. 19

Learn to use the interview process to improve employee hiring practices at workshop being offered by the College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

Effective Interviewing: Matching Candidates with the Job is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 19 in the Maluhia Building, Room 116, at 891 Ululani St.

The cost is $45.

Instructor Nancy Lombard will show participants how to identify capability in individuals through behavior-based questioning, make the match between job requirements and qualifications, and avoid personal biases.
