The race was nine miles from Kawaihae Harbor north to Red Hill and return.
There were 77 crews racing in the two races. Following are results:
Women’s open: Kawaiahe open crew (Mahealani Gambill, Noelani Spencer, Tiffany Hatanaka, Makalapua Tavares, Lora Schroder Sakai, Leilani Olson), first place overall.
Men’s open: Keauhou open crew (Waiku Koanui, Shannon Galieto, Kua Nolan, Koa Spoon, Jerico Miyahira-Young, Kaeo Peterson), first place overall
16-17 place: Kai Opua men’s open and men’s 50 crews battle for 16th and 17th place overall in men’s and mixed race.
