Authorities release name of Oahu drowning victim

HONOLULU (AP) — Authorities have released the name of an Oahu drowning victim.

The 55-year-old homeless man who was pulled from the waters of Turtle Beach in Makaha was Wayne Fleming.

The medical examiner’s office determined the cause of the death last Thursday as drowning.

Authorities say Fleming was in critical condition when he was taken to a hospital, where he died.
