And because caregivers need to be on the receiving — as well as the giving — end of caregiving, a free “drop in when you can” group for caregivers was launched in Waimea.
Sessions started Nov. 3, and will continue from 10-11 a.m. Mondays, Nov. 17 and 24, and Dec. 1, 8 and 15, at North Hawaii Hospice at 65-1328 Kawaihae Road. Come meet other caregivers and get helpful tips and support. Learn to take care of yourself as you face the stressful task of caring for the infirm.
