HONOLULU (AP) — A 36-year-old woman who sold methamphetamine to undercover police agents pleaded guilty to meth possession and distribution.
Malia Waters will be sentenced in December.
Waters told a federal judge Wednesday that she sold 2 ounces of meth to an undercover agent in Kalihi in September 2012 and three ounces in Aiea in October 2012.
The conviction was not Waters’ first brush with the law.
Waters in 2005 was a passenger in a car pursued by police by ground and air for 90 minutes from Punaluu to Chinatown. The pursuit tied up downtown traffic.
The car driven by her boyfriend, Kelly Hager, eventually slammed into and overturned a sport utility vehicle.
Waters was convicted of three drug offenses and sentenced to 171 days in jail.
