Waimanu trail reopens

The Department of Land and Natural Resources reopened the Waimanu trail in north Kohala on Friday after a flash flood watch for the North Kohala area was canceled.

Camping permits for Waimanu trail are available from the Division of Forestry and Wildlife office in Hilo, 19 E. Kawili St., or online at https://camping.ehawaii.gov/camping/welcome.html.
