Fire destroyed a Pahoa home Wednesday night.
According to a written fire department statement, 10 units responded to the 6:30 p.m. alarm, with the first unit arriving on-scene 15 minutes later.
Arriving firefighters found the three-bedroom, two-bathroom, single-story home on Keaau-Pahoa Highway engulfed in flames.
Fire officials estimated the damage at $125,000.
The home’s lone occupant was reportedly uninjured, and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
