Man dies in freeway crash

HONOLULU (AP) — A man driving a truck full of cement tile has died in a crash.

The 62-year-old man was driving at about 4:10 Tuesday on the H-1 Freeway toward Waianae.

The man’s truck drifted from the center lane to the right shoulder and hit a coconut tree Ko Olina off-ramp

A Honolulu Emergency Medical Services report says the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
