HELCO installing poles in Kona

Hawaii Electric Light Co. will be installing transmission poles on Kuakini Highway for the La‘aloa Avenue extension on Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Wednesday, Oct. 30, according to a written statement from county Public Works. The work is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. both days.

One lane of traffic will be available for drivers between Sunset Drive and Akoni Drive.
