Enjoy sizzling summer fun at Historic Kailua Village’s monthly Kokua Kailua festivities July 21. Alii Drive is closed to traffic and becomes a pedestrian-only walkway from 1-6 p.m. during Kokua Kailua.
Browse dozens of vendor booths. Shop interesting and unique stores found only in Historic Kailua Village. Fuel up with a meal, refresh with a beverage, cool off with shave ice. Then at 4 p.m. enjoy an afternoon of entertainment on the lawn at Hulihee Palace.
The next Kokua Kailua will be Aug. 18. Kokua Kailua Village Stroll is sponsored by the Kailua Village Business Improvement District, Destination Kona Coast, Kailua Village Merchants Association, Hulihee Palace, West Hawaii Today and Pacific Radio Group. The program is designed to rally support for merchants and restaurants and to remind residents to shop, dine and buy local.
