Cindy Montgomery, a veteran college counseling professional, is returning to Hawaii Preparatory Academy as assistant director of college counseling, a position she held prior to relocating to Oahu in 2009.
Cindy Montgomery, a veteran college counseling professional, is returning to Hawaii Preparatory Academy as assistant director of college counseling, a position she held prior to relocating to Oahu in 2009.
Montgomery, who begins her duties in August, comes to HPA from American Renaissance Academy, where she serves as director of college counseling and team leader of academics and school program. She just completed her term as president of the Hawaii Association for College Admission Counseling. As president, Montgomery ran all of the association’s college counseling initiatives for the state of Hawaii.
“Cindy is recognized as one of the top college counselors in the state and we’re very excited about having her return to our college counseling team,” said Headmaster Lindsay Barnes.
