American Sign Language, or ASL, interpreters from Oahu will attend this weekend’s Jehovah’s Witnesses Circuit Assembly in Hilo to interpret the program for the hearing impaired.
All are invited to the program, titled “Safeguard Your Mind,” to be held Saturday and Sunday at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Multipurpose Stadium. The theme of the two-day event is taken from Jesus’ words “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” The program is free and there are no collections taken.
The sessions, featuring talks and interviews, will begin at 9:50 a.m. each day and will conclude at 3:55 p.m. on Saturday and at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The doors are open at 8 a.m. each day.
