The University of Hawaii at Hilo hosted more than 40 researchers to share information about projects regarding water resources on the Big Island.
The second Big Island Water Resource Meeting was held March 25 at UHH. Climate change, invasive species, development and pollution were discussed.
“This meeting was a great opportunity for the water resource community to share information … that will allow us to more effectively manage and protect our island’s water resources,” said Tracy Wiegner, associate professor of marine science and event chair.
