Jamie Hall carded a 3-under-par 69 to lead the University of Hawaii Hilo to a fourth-place finish in the St. Martin’s Invitational Preview on Tuesday in Dupont, Wash.
The NCAA Division II golf tournament was hosted by St. Martin’s and played on the par 72 The Home Course.
Hall, a sophomore, had rounds of 71 and 68 on Monday to go along with his 69 Tuesday to finish at 208.
Montana State University-Billings’ Gage Huft fired a 66 on Tuesday to claim individual medalist honors by a stroke over Hall, with a 9-under 207.
UHH’s Corey Kozumi (72-70-72) shot rounds of par or better to finish tied for 8th place, at 2-under 214.
Also competing for the Vulcans were Tied for 27th place was Chris Shimomura (T-27th, 70-74-76—219); Dalen Yamauchi (T-57th, 76-75-74—225) and Kyeton Littel (T-78, 78-79-76—233).
Western Washington capatured the team title with an 857 total. Grand Canyon was second at 863, followed by Sonoma State (865) and UHH.
