Mayor’s proclamation

Jay Ihara, of Neighborhood Place of Puna, receives the mayor’s proclamation that April is Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month from Charmaine Shigemura at a public event attended by 83 community members including businesses and social organizations. The event, held on March 28, was hosted by the East Hawaii Coalition to Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect at the Aupuni Center Conference Room in downtown Hilo.
