University of Hawaii at Hilo’s Jade Salvador tied for fourth place in the Grand Canyon Women’s Invitational on Tuesday in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
The women’s collegiate golf tournament was played on the Wigwam Golf Course.
Salvador, a freshman, had rounds of 78 and 76 to finish at 10-over-par 154.
Teammate Kristen Sawada (80-80) tied for 20th at 160 while Erika Morihiro (85-80) tied for 40th with a 165.
Also competing for UHH were Shannon Abarra (T-57th, 83-87—170) and Kacie Harada (T-73rd, 89-88—177).
Grand Canyon’s Eryn Olson (74-74) was the individual medalist with a 4-over-par 148 while the Antelopes claimed the team title with a 619.
St. Edward’s (628) was in second place in the team race while the Vulcans (326-323) finished eighth at 649.
