Opening day postponed for Vulcans

The University of Hawaii at Hilo baseball team’s season opener Thursday was postponed due to wet weather, something coach Joey Estrella certainly won’t miss when he retires after his 37th and final year with the Vulcans.

Weather permitting, UHH and Augustana, from South Dakota, will attempt to get in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. today at Wong Stadium.
