U.S. Geological Survey Hawaiian Volcano Observatory geologist Tim Orr will review highlights from the past 30 years of Kilauea Volcano’s ongoing east rift (Pu‘u ‘O‘o) eruption at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, in the auditorium of Kilauea Visitor Center in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The talk is free and open to the public, but National Park Service park entrance fees may apply for this “After Dark in the Park” program.
The presentation is part of a special series set for January during Hawaii Island’s fourth annual Volcano Awareness Month.
