A public hearing will be held Friday in Pahoa on a proposed night-time ban on geothermal well drilling.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Pahoa Neighborhood Facility, 15-3022 Kauhale St.
The hearing will address Bill 292, before the Hawaii County Council, which would limit drilling of geothermal wells that occur within a mile of a residence to between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
