Emeritus Professor Chesney in UH-Hilo art exhibition
Lee Chesney, an art professor emeritus from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, is the artist-in-residence at the UH-Hilo Art Department print studio through Oct. 10.
Chesney is one of three artists who will be featured in a departmental community outreach exhibition entitled Lions in Winter. The exhibit opens on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the idspace gallery above Reuben’s Mexican Restaurant in downtown Hilo.
Lions in Winter will feature mono prints and other works from Chesney, Oliver Jackson and Albert Paley. Cover images from the exhibition can be found on the Art Department Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/uhhart.
