Brandee Menino, CEO of HOPE Services Hawaii, welcomes Jeremy McComber as HOPE Homeless Programs administrator.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo who majored in business and economics, and a graduate student at the University of the Southwest studying mental health counseling, McComber joins the HOPE Services team with more than 12 years of professional experience with the county Office of Housing and Community Development.
His endeavors with the OHCD range from consumer case management, to grant writing and fund management, to development of housing projects for the community’s most vulnerable populations.
“Jeremy has participated in partnerships throughout our islandwide community that have resulted in funding for both projects and programs that service those in need. Included in Jeremy’s project accomplishments are the development of the West Hawaii Emergency Program, as well as the recent and initial housing phase of the Ulu Wini Homes, both of which directly serve consumers of HOPE Services,” said Menino.
“We welcome him into the position of Homeless Programs administrator,” said Menino. “His wealth of knowledge and experience in affordable housing and project management will be a great asset.”
HOPE is a statewide nonprofit that provides an array of services to the homeless including emergency and transitional housing, outreach and supportive housing.
