The ‘Aha Pai‘ea Keiki Sports Challenge will be held Aug. 25 at the University of Hawaii at Hilo Athletic Complex.
Sponsored by the Vulcan Athletic Club, the six-sport event featuring UHH coaching staff and student-athletes runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open children ages 7-12.
A $5 registration fee includes lunch, and the deadline to enter is Aug. 15.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, Aug. 15.
The event begins with stretching exercises then participants can rotate between volleyball, basketball and cross country during the morning session. After lunch and another stretching session, participants rotate between baseball/softball, soccer and tennis.
