The season starts 4 p.m. Aug. 1. Players must have a current physical and proper paperwork to get a registration packet.

tryout dates slated
Waiakea High has announced the following tryout dates:
—Football: Mon-Fri., 3:15 p.m. at track (Accepting candidates until Aug. 3)
—Girls volleyball: 3 p.m. Monday at the gym.
—Cross country: 3 p.m. Tuesday at locker room
—Air Riflery: 6:30 p.m. Monday at the gym
All athletes are required to have a completed physical and parent-consent form before they can try out. If you have a scheduling conflict, please contact the coach directly to try and arrange alternate tryout dates.
