The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1260 — representing members at HELCO and CAMS Hamakua Parters — announces changes to its leadership team.
Newly hired Amy Ejercito will serve as the senior assistant business manager and general counsel for the local union. Ejercito spent a large portion of her professional career working in Hawaiian Electric Company’s legal department. After serving as HECO’s director of strategic initiatives, in 2000, she was named manager of customer service and in 2005, she was named vice president of corporate excellence.
Local union representative Michael Brittain is another new addition to the Local 1260 staff and will double as the union’s director of strategic membership development. Brittain spent the past 10 years as an operator at HECO’s Kahe Power Plant on Oahu.
As part of the Local 1260 staff reorganization, Russell Takemoto was promoted to assistant business manager and strategic researcher, while former sportscaster Russell Yamanoha was promoted to assistant business manager/director of commnications. Visit www.ibew1260.org.
