Applications due May 31 for $10K grant

Applications are due May 31 for the $10,000 community grant to be administered by the Akaka Falls Lions Club, in partnership with The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.

The grant is for a community service provider “wishing to serve the needy and poor citizens of East Hawaii,” said spokesman Nate Chang. Part of this grant includes community service completed by the Akaka Falls Club.
