The Kilauea Drama & Entertainment Network (KDEN) will hold auditions for its annual summer musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” at 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, May 21-22, at Kilauea Military Camp’s Kilauea Theater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The show is being directed by Suzi Bond, with Pedro Ka‘awaloa as music director and Carmen Richardson as choreographer.
There are lead roles for six women and two men, featured roles for three men, and a large singing-dancing ensemble of townspeople and children. All ages are encouraged to audition. Participants will be taught a song from the show and some dance steps.
“Come dressed to move freely on the stage,” said Bond. For more information, call 982-7344 or email kden73@aol.com.
