Charles H. Dole, 97, of Honolulu died March 10 at his home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired trust officer and retired sailing coach at the University of Hawaii. Services to be held June 9 at the Waikiki Yacht Club. Donations may be made to the University of Hawaii Sailing Team. Survived by son, Charles H. Dole Jr. of Grants Pass, Ore.; daughters, Elizabeth D. (Edward) Hughes of Shrewsbury, Mass., and Bird D. (Colin) McIver of Keaau; sister, Barbara D. Larson of Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Calvin Kahealani Kaawaloa, 44, of Hilo died Feb. 17 at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, he was a University of Hawaii-Hilo Campus and Hawaii Pacific University student, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-Ainaola Ward (Hilo) and McCully Ward (Oahu), as well as a missionary in Pusan, Korea, and a Goodwill Industries employee.Visitation from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints_Ainaola Ward in the Relief Society Room, with service to follow from 10-11 a.m. Aloha attire requested. Survived by sister, Noe (Mark Naumu) Kaawaloa-Naumu; and nieces, Celeste, Carlee and Chevelle Naumu. Arrangements by Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Donald Lee Kegans, 83, of Ocean View died March 17 at Kaiser Medical Center. Born in Denver, he was an insurance broker with Fred S. James. Memorial Mass at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Jude Episcopal Church, Ocean View. Refreshments to follow. Private scattering of ashes. Aloha attire. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations suggested to St. Jude’s Episcopal Church, PO Box 6026, Ocean View, HI 96737-6026.
